This role is responsible for servicing the clients who come to the branch counter. The incumbent will build a thorough understanding of each client’s financial requirements and will focus on providing the best services to retain and build deeper relationships with clients.

Main Duties

Process banking transaction for the customers following FTB service standards
Act as a key advocate to existing and potential customers
Proactively determine customer’s need to actively sell the bank’s full range of product and services
Keep updated on product knowledge and policies
Ensure transactional processing is efficient and accurate
Assist others where needed

Job Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Banking or related field
One year of experience in customer service, cashier/teller with banking/MFIs
Strong customer service and sales-oriented personality
Good organizational and time management skills
A strong desire to work in a team
English language proficiency, the Chinese language is a plus
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Word & Excel

Responsibilities
 Provide superior banking service by exhibiting a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
 Keep good communication and relationship with the team and others
 Understand the bank’s products and respond appropriately to customer inquiries regarding
product
 Understand Retail Banking policies and procedures for position and ensure compliance
 Ensure the accuracy and completeness of customer transaction recordings and postings
 Perform daily cash balancing and investigate for all any discrepancies
 Generate cross sales and referrals to generate new business and additional services
 Promote the bank’s products and further establish business relationships
 Accept assignments as required to maintain adequate staffing levels throughout branch system
 Ensure all customer application forms and other related documents are adequate for daily
operations
 Any ad-hoc works assigned by supervisor, Deputy Branch Manager or Branch Manager

Qualifications
 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Banking, or other related degrees
 At least 1 year of experience in banking services and products from financial industries, banks,
MFIs, and other MDIs, or fresh graduated are also encouraged to apply
 Be friendly, and patient
 Good at English and Microsoft Office (Words, Excel and PowerPoint)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform over the counter services (Account opening, Withdrawal, Deposit, Foreign Exchange, Internal fund transfer, International fund transfer)
Present/Marketing bank’s products and services to customers
Specialist in identifying currency counterfeit notes
Maintain good customer relations and refer customers to appropriate staff for new services to promote business for the bank

Minimum Requirements:

University degree in Finance and Banking or equivalent professional qualifications
Fresh graduated or work experience in related field with financial institutes (Priority)
Creative, dynamic, flexible, self-direct and self-motivated team player
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Good command of English and other foreign languages (Chinese or Korean) is a plus
Computer literacy
