To assist, document and train IT staff in understanding of business terms, process and practices in relation to the use of IT application.

Duties and responsibilities

Monitor and Oversee Financial Management of the Department

  • Strategic/Business Plan development, updating and monitoring;
  • Ensures development of annual budget and cost management, within the context of IT.

Manage the Staff

  • Ensures appropriate staffing consistent with needs and within the constraints of the organization’s physical and financial resources;
  • Recruits, selects, orients and develops staff to meet standard performance;
  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates IT’s work plan; assigns projects and programmatic responsibilities; reviews and evaluates work methods and procedures; meets with staff to identify and resolve problems.

Develop, Plan and Deliver Programs and Services

  • To identify, develop and maintain business process and workflow document in relation to the use of IT application;
  • Identify new approaches and solutions to business issues through analysis of processes;
  • Work with IT staff as well as user to document new processes and facilitate testing, training and user acceptance and oversee go live of new process;
  • Provide functional and process expertise to IT staff;
  • Coordinate or host IT application training for IT staff. Ensure training material is developed saved and shared among IT staff;
  • Other assignment as and when required by IT HOD.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education required
  • At least 3 years of working experience in casino/hotel operation or IT department
  • Business process knowledge in a hospitality or gaming company is an advantage
Working conditions

This position may require extended working hours and may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
