How can you make a difference?

The first area of work for of this consultancy is to provide IT assistance to MoSVY to develop the disability identification APP and MIS for nationwide disability data collection using a rights-based approach. In addition, capacity development to MoSVY official to use and manage App/MIS will be part of this consultancy.

The second area of work is to provide support to the MIS network of the ongoing CT programme for pregnant women and children and to train the IT staff of MoSVY in network services. In addition, support needs to be provided to MoSVY to adjust the CTP app/ MIS to integrate Covid-19 response if necessary.

Work Assignments/TOR:

I. Disability Allowance App/MIS development

  • Project Inception Report
  • System Requirement Specification (SRS) and System Design Document (SDD)
  • Disability App and MIS Systems:
  • Training:
  • Technical Documentation
  • Roll-out and implementation
  • Biweekly Status Reporting

II. Ongoing IT support to the MIS for the cash-transfer programme for pregnant women and children

  • Update layout mobile for MoH user
  • Contribute to the updating of missing data in system and completing some unfinished functions
  • Daily, Weekly and monthly backup date of Cash Transfer Data and Systems
  • Configure and maintain the network servers
  • Manage the network security, e.g. firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection
  • Identify and troubleshoot, solve and document network connectivity and performance issues
  • Monitor network performance and optimize the network for optimal speed and availability
  • Install, configure and maintain network hardware, e.g. cisco routers, switcher etc.
  • Implement and maintain emergency backup and restore systems
  • Liaise with other team members to assist with technical solutions
  • Train and assist MoSVY IT team members to build IT capacity
  • IT support for the development of a new function for the COVID-19 response in the App/MIS of the cash-transfer programme

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

Qualifications and Experience

  • Academic qualification at University level in business & IT, digital systems or other relevant subjects
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOPS, PHP, React and Javascript
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience working with systems design and/or systems management

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven ability to manage development environment and production systems
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of operational systems, applications, you designed and/or contribute code
  • Proven experience on complex database structures and IT infrastructure (IPv4 networks and subnets, Routing, Firewalls, Switch networks, Virtual machines, Hypervisors)
  • Solid knowledge about virtualization technologies
