Senior .NET Software Enginee

We are seeking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to act as technical leader on Okoone’s .NET development and maintenance projects. The main tasks for this position are developing, distributing and maintaining large .NET applications.

Responsibilities

– As part of the .NET team, manage and maintain our client’s software platform developed with Microsoft .NET Framework, ensure its daily and efficient operability with the Operation team, clients and service providers, develop new components and functionalities according to stakeholders’ business requirements and propose the necessary evolutions to meet client’s short, mid and long term objectives
– Support the management and maintenance of our client’s internal IT systems and network infrastructure

You

– You are a talented .NET Software Engineer with enough experience to hit the ground running. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, strong knowledge and experience designing, building and managing world-class enterprise solutions using Microsoft .NET framework with web development experience using HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript languages
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and minimum 4 years experience in solution design, product management and software development using Microsoft .NET framework with proven track record of successful projects and customer deliveries
– Deep knowledge and experience programming with Microsoft .NET Framework, languages and development tools (Visual Studio 2015, Visual Studio LightSwitch, ASP.NET MVC, C#/VB.NET, ASP.NET Web API, SQL Server, IIS web server, etc…)
– Deep sysadmin knowledge on Windows servers (proficiency with Windows Server command lines and familiarity with each layer in the .NET Framework stack from application architecture and system infrastructure points of views)
– Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
– Strong ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures, views and user defined functions
– Good experience developing business intelligence and reporting applications using Microsoft SQL Server Services (notably SSIS and SSRS)
– Experience in building REST Web Services APIs and in JSON / XML manipulation
– Good understanding of modern web layouts, design and typography
– Good knowledge and experience programming with frontend languages and practices (HTML5, CSS3 / LESS / SASS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, adaptive and responsive layouts…)
– Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases
– Good understanding and experience with agile software development methodologies (Scrum, XP…)
– Good understanding and experience of software versioning techniques and tools (Git)
– Experience using agile development and bug tracking tools and ability to deploy these tools, if necessary
– Good level of spoken and written English to communicate in an international environment
– Quality-oriented mindset, attention to details
– Ability to be flexible, learn quickly, and work within a team

Extra cookie points:

– Good Linux OS sysadmin knowledge (proficiency with Linux command lines and familiarity with each layer in the LAMP / LEMP stacks from application architecture and system infrastructure points of views)
– Knowledge and experience programming with PHP language
– Experience working in a startup environment
– Good command of Chinese language (at least spoken) will be a major plus
