MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review the reliability and integrity of financial reporting in close cooperation with the external auditors.
- Review the system(s) established to manage the institution’s compliance with relevant laws and regulation such as NBC regulation, AML…etc.
- Review the accuracy and reliable of information before it is submitted/released to the central bank/public.
- Review testing from Support Functions Auditor.
- Follow up the implementation of the recommendations at the Head Office.
- Assist Manager of Support Functions Audit Unit to update audit programs and working paper.
- Get feedback from audit team members for department’s growth.
- Train and Coach Auditors regarding work responsible, internal policy and audit ethics.
- Draft audit report to Manager of Support Functions Audit Unit.
- Consolidate audit reports quarterly, semi-annually and annually for the management.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATION
- A bachelor’s degree in the field of Banking, Finance, Accounting, or other professional skills such as CAT and a few papers of ACCA,.
- 2 years of experience in Microfinance Institutions or Commercial Banks with duties that included Financial Statements Preparation in Finance Department.
- 2 years of experience in Assurance Functions (either an external or internal auditor) with duties that ever involved in preparing working Financial Statements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microfinance Institution and Banking, laws and regulations applicable to banking and financial institutions, law on taxation and labor law.
- Acknowledge Internal Policy in order to perform the work properly.
- Objectivity, confidentiality and work professionalism.
- Capability and willingness to take responsibilities and highly developed sense of rectitude.
- Be flexible in any circumstances, good at communication with management and staff of Head Office and good team member to succeed altogether among all team members.
- High commitment to work under pressure and tough deadlines, understanding the logic, good critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Medium level in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent English in Speaking, Writing, Listening, and Reading.
